Jordan Vogt- Roberts- A Director of his Own Dreams


Everyone knows that Hollywood movies are famous worldwide due to their creativeness and unique approach. There is a lot of money spent on movie making and a plethora of movies get released every year but not every movie climb the ladder of success. The major element of a successful movie is the right direction which can only be possible with a visionary movie director.

Every single script needs a right set of understanding and a person who can portray the writer’s imagination in a presentable way. In this era, there are a number of great directors but only the worthy ones are called the best and Jordan Vogt- Roberts is one of them who exactly know how to direct movies in an interesting manner. 



His perspective to see a script is quite different, which is knowingly required to make a movie entertaining and successful. His movies carry a unique style and become an inspiration for others in the industry.

Mr. Vogt-Roberts began his career as a producer and director and in the initial stage of his rewarding career, where he has directed two web series that are “Memories of a Manchild” in 2009-2010 and the second one is Book Club in the year 2009-2013. In addition to this, he also directed most of the episodes of a very popular web series Dads in 2009-2011.

As the short films were highly in demand, he was inspired by an episode of one of his popular web series “Memories of a Manchild”, so in the year 2009, he decided to direct a short film “Mint in a Box” based on it. After seeing the positive response of this short film, in 2010, he decided to write and direct another one named “Successful Alcoholics.” His film successfully screened at Sundance Film Festival, the AFT Fest, the SXSW Film Festival, and 30 other Film Festivals and was extremely appreciated by the audiences.

With his artistic approach, Jordan Vogt- Roberts has debuted in the American film and television industry with an interesting and enjoyable movie named “The Kings of Summer” that screened in the 2013 Sundance Film Festival. This film was appreciated by the audience and in the year 2013 at Dallas International Film Festival, the movie won the Narrative Feature Audience Award.
