Achievements of Jordan Vogt-Roberts in the World of Entertainment

Jordan Vogt-Roberts is very passionate and dedicated to his work and has created milestones in the entertainment world. Making a mark in the Hollywood industry is a huge challenge but Jordan has proved that with the proper vision and hard work everything can be achieved. His work has created such a positive impact on the film people that many of the actors and actresses have shown a keen interest in working with him. In addition to this, also some of the famous directors have collaborated with him for the direction of some big-budget movies.

Mr. Vogt-Roberts started his career at a very young age with the production and direction of episodes of two web series named Memoirs of a Manchild (2009-2010) and Book Club (2009-2013). Simultaneously he was also directing some episodes of Single Dads (2009-2011). The best thing about Jordan was he has tried his skills in every category whether it is commercial, digital, or movies. Hence, with the help of his extraordinary talent, he converted a single episode of Memoirs of a Manchild into a short film named Mint in a Box in 2009.



Later in 2010, Jordan with his creative vision wrote a story and directed a short film based on the story which is Successful Alcoholics. This film was screened at the SXSW Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival, the AFI Fest, and around 30 other film festivals.  He then went on to direct television programs such as Mash Up for Comedy Central, Death Valley for MTV, and You’re the Worst for FX.

Jordan Vogt-Roberts finally made his movie debut in the year 2013 with The Kings of Summer which also got its screening at the Cleveland International Film Festival and the Sundance Film Festival. The movie also won the Narrative Feature Audience Award at the 2013 Dallas International Film Festival. In addition to this, he also directed the very famous movie from the King Kong franchise which was Kong: Skull Island. This movie earned over $565 million at the global box office.

Currently, Jordan is working on the action and adventure movie from the Metal Gear series. Mr. Hideo Kojima, the creator of Metal Gear himself has approached Jordan for this venture. Jordan will surely do some good work with the movie as he knows what is needed to direct a good film.
